they used to manage without them all, from my experiance over the last 5 years the management do seem to go out their way to cock the actual work up, the site im on at the min is totally unbeleivable

my dad has been at it for 30 years and will be leaving the trade soon, he says it really has gone that bad

Well I do see your point and I am not questioning their skills but without QS's especially in the current climate a lot of projects would go bust

You need a QS and a Clerk Of Works, and a work programme is the only document we should need

We get through about 15mugs a day at work and when I'm working on the house at weekends (with no heating) I've got a 1/2pint thermos mug which is very rarely empty

16oz cups ftw. (1 pint).

Have mine sitting here, takes over 45 minutes to cool down enoguht to drink unlike smaller cups

I get 2.5 cups of tea to every 1 of my bosses cups
