Don't know why, but the older I get, The more pissed off with christmas I get. Seems to start earlier every year. Im sure in 3 or 4 years time the DFS adverts will start straight after easter.

If I had a choice we wouldn't have em but unfortunately my mum wants em
Then whinges when we say, if you want em, you put em up
There's a house a few minutes from here that never took their outside lights down last year they just left em up and then turned em back on about 2 weeks ago but then he drives a chavved up Espace with an alloy saloon spoiler What more would you expect?

If it was up to me we wouldnt have christmas decorations, however the missus insists on having them up, with this stupid bastard dancing and singing santa claus which is motion activated Piece of shit, ill smash it this year i think.
Anyway She puts them up after the anniversary of her grandad's death, sometime in the middle of december, take them down around new years

I bought ours yesterday
I usually don't put them up until 12 days before and then take them down 12 days after, but my b.f couldn't wait and had to put it up last night

I never bother anymore.
The tree sits in our downstairs living room. Were always in the upstairs living room and we never see it. Therefore, there is no point at all.
Plus i'm lazy.

Next weekend going up.
Coming down, whenever we're assed after new year.
I don't see how it really matters and how peopel get so heated up over it tbh. Xmas is what you make it. Ignore the outside crap, and have xmas for yourself/friends, not for what the retailers say.

See thats jsut pointless.
All that effort of getting it all out, sorting it, only to put it away 1 day later.
If your gonna be that miserable, might as well not bother completly??? Save yourself the effort?
