You can get all the Australian one's in any Walkabout pub.

I was served horse, frog and snails in France as a youngster but I don't think they're classed as particularly weird these days.

Had some Reindeer (sp) cooked in a stew and that was very nice. Also had whale in the fish market in Bergen but i had to spit it out because it tasted disgusting, a bit like salty gone off beef with a hint of fish

I had a horse steak cooked on a bbq.
tasted like beef, but was tough as old boots.
could have been a bad cut so i'd try it again, although i suspect i'd come to the same conclusion that beef was the better option.
