TBH I was looking at the pic wondering what the problem was, the guy obviously didn't know where the filter went and it fitted where he put it so that's where it ended up.

That thread sucks so hard, even the "Fail" pics are the poorest I've ever seen - most of them using the incorrect "your" instead of "you're", in summary the entire thread is a waste of internet ink and wwwpaper

I give it 3/10

providing he took the panel filter out the standard airbox that would work alright.. but still lol!

i did this on my saxo vtr because it looked better and fit better to the empty airbox than it did on the inlet

he should of took the restrictor pipe off that the cone filter is connected to and removed the air filter out of the air box

the ecu will go to de fault mode then the ecu will learn the new tuning of the engine

it will lose some power because the cone filter is not that far away from the exhaust manifold it won't be this bad this time of year as the incoming air is cooler but when the weather gets hotter then it will suffer heat soak
