i do agree with ollie, i dont enjoy PVS anymore after beeing to the last 5

al the cars are the same, the new breed of vaux owners clubs (ie the vxr lot) have identical cars

next year i will be going to E38, GTI international and RetroRides much more intresting

on the other hand, the corsasport stand is allways spot on, as well as the people

I have to stay away from Ford Fair, I get ridiculous ideas. I'll be going to that show in Belgium the VAG/Opel show this year.

Its why i dont bother anymore.

Same old same old, plus quality isn't as high, not as many cars I feel.

Your onto the right track with the other events, but these days without a car, I feel somewhat left out.

When we took the astra, there was no spark, no interest, no bother to even clean the (then) brand new car we had. We parked it, left it, but still left by 2-3pm as we'd got bored. I needed cars to arrange, then a few hours cleaning to feel part of it

Getting old, senile, boring, boooooo.

Was fun watching my old videos the other day though, Garry n Craig sitting on the bank perving at women with my camera, every so often getting some vauxhalls on the strip

Going by the average intelligence of some of the people attending, giving them access to the track would be a bad idea.

Silverstone is the best for access imho - especially if you get there early, hardly any queueing this year for Trax. PVS was ridiculous this year.

'07 was fantastic.

The problem with PVS is that you see the cars day in day out on here. At least with Trax there is stuff you never really see.

I like showing with Corsasport because you don't have a massive walk to everything like when you're just a visitor. . .oh wait, this year

Hence why you sat by the camper all day Sunday, but couldn't be bothered to go home when we found out Adam_B and Lisa had covered about 200 yards in an hour

Mine was awesome this year - I didn't park on the stand, but left my car where we all camped overnight - about as close to the exit as possible.

So I walked round from the CS stand, past all the cars queuing, jumped in mine and joined a 100 yard queue to the exit, and drove straight home! Apparently I got out of Santa Pod about 90 minutes earlier than a couple of guys who drove off the stand when I started walking

PVS 08 was shit quite frankly.. Suposedly 25 years of the nova but all the tarmac close to the stands were taken by astra/vectra/calibra clubs with corsa's and nova's left in the middle of nowhere 1000 miles from anything.
Access was dire and beyond a joke.. offroad safari to the cs stand wtf!
Also is it just me that thought the majority of Astra's/vectra's/calibra's on show were "chavved" up?

really wasn't worth all the effort of cleaning my car and the 3am drive down..

Only redeeming thing i can think of was the CS stand and banter
