I think it's my desk/chair at work...

The desk is a childs height, the chair is an office chair and it has a thing I'm hitting my knees on so I can't tuck it under.

I've been told I can't have a new desk/chair becuase of the credit crunch - is there a law against that?

Yes. There are guidelines to ensure that you don't have health problems now, and in the future. Claim to sue their ass and you'll get your new equipment!

I know that in control rooms I work on theres strict rules regarding the equipment which will often be sat at for a whole shift - 12hrs. The positioning of keybaord/moniter, whether you have to stretch to access things. Chair suitability comes into it somewhere aswell, not sure about desk.

I would have a moan deffo, its your place of work & you spend a long time at it!!

This is brilliant. Even if the monitor isn't sitting at the perfect height you can moan
