3 problems - 1) Non projector lights 2) LHD lights (So illegal anyway!) 3) Not aligned.
Get it sorted or rip them out mate.

People will flash you with Hids fitted, because there illegal and dont produce a proper aligned beam if there fitted in old style headlamps.
Have a look at a hid beam in a mot testers beam monitor thing and you'll see why
They just shoot light all over the place.
Yours are definently aiming too high though, mine are much lower than that, lower than that even on full beam.

Got HID's in mine, and they produce a proper beam? And passed an MOT fine.

They do not produce a proper beam whether it passed it's MOT or not.

But they do. Put them up to the beam setter at work to align them, and it showed the flat line, then the angled bit to one side
Like here on my garage door, solid line, not just a whole patch of light

I get the odd flash and mine aren't too high, I think people just don't realise they are brighter. I do feel kinda bad sometimes but I love them too much to take them off.

Thinking of getting some for my Astra coupe but how would I get on as the headlamp outers are clear with no lines to control light direction?
Any ideas?

Blimey! That headlamp pattern and hid's no wonder you get flashed a lot. I think the only way to solve it would be new headlamps drom a motor factors. Then you will get a proper beam image and can adjust them properly.

basically you dont have projector head lights and have completely fucked up but having no motors on them.
you need to lower the lights manually and somehow, hold them down. Otherwise you will be pulled because basically your blinding people.
good luck

i always get flashed by other drivers and mine are standard xenons. but to me, it does look like you beam pattern is all over the place. you can acually see a clear cut line on the road in front of you with mine.

if you have fitted HIDs then to comply with the law they must be self leveling and you must also fit washers, as any grit/dirt on the lense really fucks up the beam patten, so they need to be washed regualary
