I go out of my way at work to help folk, but I dont ask them for money when I do.
Cant see why anyone would tip a waiter/waitress TBH

I only tip (money not card) when i get good service, if its "ok" service i still dont tip as its your job...... i dont get tips fullstop.
Dont expect tips, that is bad. Its like me expecting people to stop when i want to cross the road and if they dont i brick their car....

Well im sorry but I think most people in this buisness expect tips onto of their bill. I will rephrase what I said, When there is a Large party in and you go out your way to make it enjoyable, when the bill is massive, they should tip.

I got a £20 tip when i sold a bloke a tv, went out of my way to order it, then it cocked up so i collected it from a depot and delivered it personally and installed it as im nice. Went to start my car and he came out and said thank you soo much and passed it throught the window, i then spent five minutes trying to give it back untill he said its rude not to accept a gift and laughed. It feels so much better when it comes every so often.

See to me that doesnt really make sense, as if you work in a resturant with say 70 seats, you are paid a wage to wait on 70 seats now if you have large parties in, it will still only ever reach a max of 70 seats so there fore you are not waiting on any different.
Being a waitres swings in round abouts, you have quiet nights, you have busy nights, that comes with the job.
IMO the only people that deserve tips are people who work for Her Majestys Service, everyone else can GTF with tips.

Ok im sorry for making you feel worse, if you did go out of your way for them than i can see your point. But remember some people were born into this world to make your life hell
got two customers like that at the moment

Ok, what really grinds my gears, is people who lead you on then fuck you around.
People who expect you to go out of your way because they can't be arsed.
People who take advantage of your good nature.
When you try as hard as you can to please someone and they still don't see it.
People who don't appreciate you for who you are, and people who don't appreciate how lucky they are.
I don't agree with tipping, I never got tipped for doing any of the jobs I've done, and I've done properly shit jobs on less money than you, but hey ho, you didn't ask for an opinion, so I'm sorry for giving one.

Are you talking about the forces?
Why on earth do they deserve tips, all you've said about waiting applys to them as well.
Have the started conscription without me noticing or do you sign up knowing fine well what you're getting into

Imagine if everyone started asking for tips no matter what the job
My tip would be frigging ace if it was 10% of our fees for a job

One thing I've never understood regarding tipping is tipping a barber when it's his own business
He's getting what ever money he's charged you in the first place so he's obviously happy with that, why give him more?
