It's not confusing though?

Postage is on the search page before you even click on the link (I know not in 100% of cases before it's said)

on the listing i have put in bold underlined text "please note postage costs", not a scam at all, i simply want what it is worth but i want to pay as little ebay fees as possible, what is wrong with that?

item buy it now £25.00 postage £2.99 = total £27.99
item buy it now £0.99 postage £27.00 = total £27.99

you pay exactly the same so what does it matter?

Ash, if the y and z are the wrong way around, why not just take them off and swap them around?

...But the keyboard would still register the Y as a Z and vice versa.

Not if you swapped them round then changed the keyboard layout in windows.

Also, guy didn't get back to me after I called him a spastic for thinking I was English.

Because it's done to dodge fees which means they stay high for everyone else, plus you're not protected for refunds as a buyer on the postage price, only the purchase, plus it messes with the search function when you limit by price, plus it's generally annoying and if everyone did it the policy would change which means you would get penalised for selling heavy items even though if you're legitimate you don't see any profit from postage charges but you would then still be charged fees on them.

John - Why could you not give him the link to the place you got the quote from? Or ask him who is doing it for £12 and use them?

I wasn't interested in sending it to him in the first place really, but because he did look legit I got a quote from interparcel, they are who I normally use, I wasn't taking the piss.

When he sent the first cheeky reply I was just shocked and wouldn't have sent it to him anyway.

It's a logitech G15, I knew it would sell for at least what i wanted anyway without the added hassle of me sending it abroad.

It was bidded up to £34 within the first couple of hours and I only paid £52 for it.
