If your car insurance is due for renewal and it's standard, try Endsleigh. They were cheaper by £500 for me. And in the letter with the 'welcome' pack it says "As you're a student and professional, your business is very important to us".

In other words, I essentially got cheap insurance which they were potentially making a loss on, to hook me in.
