I had this issue with water running down where the main loom comes through the bulkhead and into the ECU. Its becuase my wires didn't run through the original rubber grommit.

Made things a bit smelly for a while till I worked out what bit was leaking.

Don't let it happen often, rusty rusty will pay a visit to the front floorwell if its not sorted

Not worried about rust that much as its not made of old bean tins like the corsa lol am worried about stink though lol I've sorted it now and dried it out will just have to make sure I keep checking that its not blocked.

In all seriousness you might wanna consider taking it off for this weather. My mates Golf now needs a new engine after the air feed sucked loads of water up!

speaking of heavy rain, my mate just aquaplaned doing 75mph on the motorway in hes audi a3, spun 360 off the road into a tree, with a punto gearbox on the back seats and my other mate in the passenger seat (with no seatbelt on) lol ...

Cars a right off
Gearbox is a right off
But there both ok

Must get some pictures off him to post up, cars a mess and theres a nice big hole in the boot
