1) Accelerate into a corner as you do
2) Turn in
3) Lift off the gas
4) Weight transfers to the front of the car
5) Back end goes light
6) Car goes sideways
7) Open your eyes about 7 minutes later with a concussion and climb out of the passenger window
or just steer into it?

yes because i owned both a vtr and a 206 gti and never once crashed or even came close in either, even in the wet you can steer into it, if not you must be doing stupid speeds

Ditto It feels like, and I'm almost certain that my XSi is faster than my old XE.

Yeah Wouldn't mind an 8v XSi for a daily, and use this as a track car!

I loved mine, it was black too, looked so nice. I nearly bought 1 instead of the vectra. Wish I had now. I'm still tempted to get another, they appeal to me more than an xe. Mine was on spax coilovers, handled like it was on rails.

So in a vts/gti when taking a corner at some erm..speed if you take your foot of the throttle (take it off fast or slow) the car will spin?
As most corners I go through I would generally take my foot of the acc or at least hardly press it..
