We were discussing suicide in work last week.

We all decided if we did ever do the deed it'd be through tablets/alcohol...

I'm not brave enough to kill myself or would i want to but i dont think i could ever slit my wrists, choke to death or stick a rope around my throat.

Yes it is an attention seeking thing, but most of the time people do it so they can just have the little attention they may need to make them better.

Sick way to do it and TBH i have no time for people who do attempt it.

All our jobs are at risk at the moment so we're not doing much.

Plus today we had no heating and the office temperate was only 12ocentigrade....

I have no time for this guy but blood is thicker than water and all that..

Isn't this thread kind of classed as attention seeking? Do we really need to know someone in your family has tried to kill themselves? :/

[attention]

i'll kill them if you sort my relationship out[attention]

I hear they recommend not doing much when your job is at risk.

Makes it a lot easier for them to decide who to get rid of.

may as well explain it i spose lol

my uncle hung himself from his banister - girlfriend came in the afternoon and found him

one of my mates frank hung himself in the garage, his mum found him the next morning

another mate james hung himself in his room (dont quite know how) his mum found him the next day

now even though suicide is in my opinion a very selfish thing to do! and in an ideal world would never happen sadly for one reason or another it does!

some have the ability to drive miles away so that they are found by people who dont know them but its my understanding that the majority tend to do it where they have memories and a place they feel loved so if there are gonna get found by a loved one then would you really want to leave them a scene out a horror movie? lifeless body hanging there in a total mess with fluids dripping and a face wracked with pain OR a lifeless body under the covers and a face thats sleeping

my 2cents explained

still fucked up tho

Suicide i think is a cowards way out imo. But there are cases when people obviousley have no choice but to take their own life to get away from it all.

I have a friend who's private music teacher threw himself off the motorway bridge near us because some stupid little girl claimed that he a touched her up. It was proved eventually that he hadn't.

I found a victim of suicide hanging from a washing line, the doctors said she was heavily intoxicated and had been dead for at least 7 hours, her toungue was out and all black, she was just swinging there in the wind, it didnt really affect me as much as I thought it would, could imagine its fucking horrible if its a loved one in your house

I just cant imagine how bad it has to get for someone to start thinking about taking their own life.

My next door neighbour jumped in front of a train a few years back, never had a clue he was in that frame of mind.

My cousin did this 2 years ago now. Had a very minor argument with his missus after a few drinks and threw himself in front of a train. Only 17

Dan Alcohol leads to irrational decisions Trust me I won't actually comment on some of the things said in this thread though, because it is all down to personal preference.
