Stop skitting other peoples' girlfriends and look at your own lives, mostly.
So she needed a bit of attention. That doesn't deserve the onslaught and I find it rather ironic that the same people who are on that particular bandwagon are also very quick to complain when the insults are the other way.

Not at all. In fact I think it's very sad indeed that a gang of keyboard warriors with whom the odds are on them being ugly, are very happy to poke unnecessary insults at someone they've not met, just because she dressed up one day and her boyfriend wanted to show her off.
Are people that incapable of saying 'yes, very nice' and getting back to their own lives.
Why must it become pages and pages of judgement. On what grounds? She's not as attractive as the porn in the other window while they're sat at home wanking on the internet instead of being out there and actually having social skill and making friends instead of being a twat.

I started reading them insults of her and I thought, "you know if that was my daughter I would be in pretty distressed mood right now" ok she maybe shouldn't be posing like that for all and sundry to see but regardless, I bet most of you would kill to have a bird with a body like that, or even a bird

Disagree, IMO it ALL comes down to the fact that he put up pics of his (fugly) bird and asked people what they think.
The whole thing about the internet is that it isn't the real world - everyone knows this and people should be prepared for unadulterated criticism, good or bad.
If he wasn't prepared to hear things like 'she's like a bulldog with lipstick and eyeshadow' he simply shouldn't have out the pics up.
And just becasue you say 'she's got a face like a melted welly' it doesn't make you a bad person. Just means that you have an opinion.
