yes.

I'll shut up.

All I know is I can't recommend the 120d/BMW '170'bhp enough. Also the build quality in them is very good.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Fabia vRS then. Look fantastic on Octavia vRS wheels and lowered slightly. Nippy enough as standard, but much better re-mapped. Can be bought for buttons compared to a 1 series, and just as reliable.

what would you like to know

I have the 177 version now with 210 bhp and 310 ibs/ft

pisses all over the VAG units and keeps a 2.0 TFSI petrol honest

great handling build quality is good but not a patch on Audi

Looks good in MSPORT

I love it

Get over 50 mpg

Cheap tax and does 550 on average to 52 litres

done 25k in 12 months

Had a few faults though - turbo went
then the actuator
then the footwell controller

Even so BMW assistance and after care is immense so much better than audi when i had the TT

In the gear they are very quick but you do not get the punch of the VAG unit - as they feel quicker than what they are

163 version is noisey and less fuel efficient

however at 26.7k it was not cheap

options include
xenons
adaptive lights
18's
heated seats
lemon leather

all adds up but great car

never fails to impress and always a pleasure to drive

yeah

163 will give around 195 BHP and about 280lbs/ft

The interior is different on pre face lift models and not as nice

There are also some exterior changes to mine

also ayto start stop, altenator saving, air con pulley etc are face lift models giving better energy efficiencies

128 on emissions make it £120

Face lift 118d with 143 is £35 a year
