Crazy aint it?!

I was looking for a tow car recently and opted for a 2000 model BMW 330d estate as its £70 cheaper to tax than a 2001 emmission based tax 330d.

Add some 19" wheels and hey presto.

Fuck that - pay a probably another 50% value on top for buying one. And pay about 12p a litre more for the fuel so you hardley save anything on your day to day costs which you have already wasted buying the car

the new engine has 173 BHP

Seems they are slowly catching the lexus unit but still a nit behind the BMW 4 pots with less cc

however it does have more ibs/ft

I agree - even the 170 VAg units are like that

However wityh nearly 200 BHP it will not be slow

However the rev range of a petrol is something I miss

Your missing the point. Im saying acceleration in a saxo vtr dont feel too quick but in the passat feels rapid

the mondeo st220 is supposed to be around the same pace as an e46 330ci

the facelift model(6 speed) had a whole host of toys and right now these are alot of car for the money
