I bought 2 things from PVD, both of which turned up and their staff were quite helpful. I even received a phone call at work once telling me that an item was out of stock and it would take a further week!

This was 2002, were they ok then?!

I think anyone who bought from PVD (myself included) in their early days didn't get fucked over.

PVD in the early days was superb. I bought my Combat Kit, had it fitted by their bodyshop, bought wheels, suspension, bumpers etc I spent thousands with them.
