Weed? Chills people out. Doubt they'll be confronting anyone.
Coke? Ok, might make them cocky, no more than drink
Pills? Make them feel full of love and be happy and make friends with anyone
The problem in pubs round by me is people seem to be doing a lot more MDMA and Ketamine than just having a quick line or a joint

Again, where's the problem?
MDMA is just the best bit of pills. Original pills statement stands.
Ketamin, doubt they'll be doin much. Always confused me why people take that on a night out.

Oh dear god. You can't make the assumption that all people act the same on drugs thats bollocks for a start. Yes alcohol is just as bad as drugs, hence why i, and a lot of my collegues are very strict on serving anyone we think may be getting drunk. Both drink and drugs make people VERY unpredictable, a normal situation with a normal person can turn very violent when you add a few pints or a few pills into the mix. I'm sure There's other people on here who work in bars or in services like police that have been hit/threatened/glassed etc when dealing with a simple situation as the person involved has been under the influence of drink/drugs, i know i have.
as for doorstaff, not really down to them doing their job properly, they can't search everyone coming onto the premises, and as for telling if someone is off their face, who's to say they're not sober when they enter the pub then just getting coked up in the toilets.
Which brings me onto my next point, in a pub like spoons, kids come in, they go into the toilets, go to wash their hands and their fucking coke round the handbasins, yeah thats safe not to mention the sick badgers that leave used needles down the side of the sofas or in the beer gardens etc, lets just risk injuring people or worse yeah!
I've nothing against people who want to take drugs, but There's a time and a place, and if you choose to do something illegal and is illegal for good reason, then don't twist when the police crack down on it.

Theres nothing wrong with having a joint or a line here and there, i think you'll find that the atmosphere will be a lot more violent and a damn sight less friendly if drugs are completely out of the eqaution. You probably find that most people that cause the trouble in pubs/clubs are not on drugs, just extremely intoxicated by alcohol. Nothing sobers you up more than a nice line...
