Way I see it is, why didnt they sack Jonathan Ross because of 'gross misconduct'? That way they can get rid of him without having to pay the exorbitant contract cancellation and then could start making some half decent shows for the BBC again with our license fee money

They cant sack him for gross misconduct.

He took part in a pre recorded radio show,he could easily argue that if the editor/producer had done his job correctly the phonecalls wouldnt off been included.

Which imo is the person at fault.

You watch the stuff thats edited out of Mock the week its ten times worse than what them two did.

But isnt aired because the producer does his job correctly and edits it out.

Yea good point Nova, Sachs was hardly PC in his day I agree with you that Brand is hilarious, maybe it was a little too far for radio 2, probly would have been better used in his stand up or something

Lets be honest though you can't compare that, humour was massively different back then. Plus he is just an actor, as far as I know he didn't write the show.
