Nice one, find out as much as you can about what you'll be doing & about the industry/company etc.

They've already decided there ok with you for the position qualification wise, there now just looking to see who's the right man out their shortlist.

Wowzer them at the interview & show your keen & you'll be in with a very good shout!! Hope you get it!

Aye that's what I did 1st time round.

I've got ZERO experience in this field, which they could tell from my CV. I said I recognised the advantages of that as they can train me exactly how they want me to be trained, no bad habits and all that. The letter inviting me to the first interview said how I needed to take my passport with me so they could see I am elgibile to work in the UK. The HR lady saw it and said, 'wow, you're only one of a couple of people to have actually read the letter properly' Going unprepared FTL!!!

I also researched the company background, and when she was telling me about the hostile takeover they encountered 3 years ago I knew who bought them out and mentioned them.

Must have helped me I reckon. I also bantered with the guy about Golf, as he asked if I was an 'outdoors person' to which I said 'yeh'. So 5 mins casual chatting about golf..... S'all good

I never did the accounts thing in the end.

I looked into it but decided it wasn't for me.

I'm doing Stock Control at the moment in a Warehouse, so definite change of direction either way
