Driving a 911 means you have more taste, class and style to be driving a Lambo/Ferarri......

lol @ everyone saying its a poor mans 911, im sure if he could afford a 911 he'd be looking at them.

Im pretty sure we would all jump at the chance to own a boxster.

If you say you wouldn't its cos your still diluded into thinking the Corsa is like somekind of forgotten gem which cannot be beaten, it'll pass

great cars, people that say stuff about them beeing "poor mans this" etc have no idea

not fast in a straight line, but they were never meant to be, as it would have been a better car than a 911 if it had the same power etc

with the 986 boxter, be carefull as the rear main oil seals go, and are a cunt to replace, and the exhausts and heat sheilds rot because of there location, and are expensive to replace

When my dad bought his cayman s, we had a test drive in a boxster s also, when i was in it i was amazed at the power and the way it sounds, until you've actually been in one you cant say 'its the poor mans 911' because its still any awesome car compared to the other sports cars available (TT etc)

I have to admit Ive not driven a Cayman S / Boxter S but I have driven a 911 Turbo If thats what you are aiming for you definetly need to go for something slower because the power goes to your head its just incredible and too much tbh

I'd have one as well, never bought into the 'poor man' carry on. They regularly come out on top when comparisons are made within their class, they look good and they go well.

What kind of 'poor man' can afford £35k anyway? That's what I want to know. I must be classed as a fucking pikey if that's how it works.

Agree with Butler, I'd rather have something a bit more focussed and a bit newer. But then depends what you want it for, if you want to impress the pretentious twats at your work and get the girls knickers wet go for the Porsche, if you want a drivers car go for the Exige.

IMO of course.

THE most predictable retarded sheep following answer in the world. Let me guess, not driven one?

I've driven a few boxsters.

Great chassis, great handling, smooth relaxed ride yet sharp when you need it. Engine could do with some more umph, but great cars..

Aye, becuase £40k is certainly a "cheap" car.. What do you drive again????
