i Built my friends P1 last year, few upgrades tho turbo, headers, exhaust, injectors, Fuel Pump and now its 406hp at the fly with 1.2bar and its was really hot day when it was mapped.

tbh its such a different car, i would go for scooby just don't ruin it and look after the engine and it will look after you!

22b - 475 Jap iirc and 25 english models built, BBS wheel, alot wider, different brakes, suspension, adjustable centre diff, adjustable rear wing. kinda rally car rep for the road. Price is £20,000+ depends if its jap import or english model.

P1 - Prodrive upgrade based on st6 were only meant to build 500 but built 1000, Prodrive suspension, Interior, rear wing with carbon edge, Prodrive wheels and splitter. Price around £10,000+ depending on condition.

0-60 in 4.6-8sec irrc

all i can remember about them

mines gonna be sub 5 secs to 60, hoping for low 12 sec quaters..maybe 11's if it makes the torque!

how much you gotta spend, depends how fast you wana make it? obviously little corsas with a let in will piss over your basic spec ones, sti will give it more of a run for its money but subaroos are a different league to vauxhalls

Theres a project p1 going for 600bhp on scoobynet.. 0-60 and back in under 6 seconds

Standard mine is quoted as 4.6 to 60. I did a 13.2 1/4 mile standard bar cat back exhaust before it blew up

I currently have a Corsa C Sri but want a bigger car, so its either an Imprezza for around 8k or a Diesel Vectra for around 6k.

What do you guy's reckon?

the vectra and impreza couldnt be any more different, my dad has a new shape vectra and its the most boring car i have ever driven but comfy and good on long journeys. a friend owns an impreza p1 and the acceleration is brutal, 0-100 happens very quickly and the 4wd gives outstanding grip.

also worth remembering there are alot of different impreza models with power ranging from iirc 215ish to 320bhp(give or take a few bhp).

models like the sti, p1, type ra etc simply cannot be compared to a standard hot hatch

What turbo you got on yours wrighty? I want a md321t turbo for my next one. Then it should do 11's. To get 11's you need low 400's really.

Yeah just a 2.0 Sport NA. Think mines about 130bhp, need a re-map though.

No such thing - unless it's a LET'd Mk3
And tbh I'd sooner have a Imprezza or Vectra and I don't particulary like either.

I'm struggling to find a 'duh' face.

A mate at work has a turbo'd... sorry, LET'd mk3

People tend to forget that Imprezas start at like 215bhp and upwards. A full spec PPP STI will be 300bhp+ & 300lbs/ft+. Throw a full decat system in there and it'll make 320bhp like mine did.

Just because you "beat an Impreza", that isn't the be all and end all meaning you can see them all off.

Not forgetting, often they're badged as something else, and every chump puts the STI spoiler on. Doesn't make it an STI. There's plebs in 2.0 lookalikes, and we can't forget the good old pub talk figures. Dyno prints should be standard when people start talking that crap. Had too many arguments over people's bullshit bhp's

I accept that a lightweight hatchback with a whopping engine will beat one, I just think "all round" the Impreza gets the thumbs up
