why do all the adverts start after 10 mins of watching beginning of programs, the adverts last about 20 mins!

No all their stations and Shell have just installed them on all the stations in the state here as well.

It shows HBO so you get live sports on Sundays, or even films.

Shell show Fox I think so again sports on Sundays

Agreed, Texaco's near me have TV's, but they just show shite.


Its also a great form of advertising to increase revenues, as you're not going to move for the next few mins so will be stuck watching whats on that screen.

also on every channel they have weather warnings etc and tell you to go down to your basement when its really bad

Thats another great idea that boots are currently trialing over here IIRC. Chemists are always pain in the asses to get to/park up at, so having it drive through makes sense.

The emergency broadcast lol and they test it everyday at midday.
But on 9/11 it did not work lol.

like tht chap of A team says " i aint gettin on no plane"

was crying with lafter haha

Some of the trains and buses in Birmingham have TVs, but it's not proper "live" TV - just pre-recorded Sky News I think.

The sheer fact they buy their fuel by the gallon and not the litre is a joke though, just shows how unbelievably cheap it is over there.
