Yeah, more classy than an mx5, not that there is anything wrong with mx5's but the slk would suit your mum more.

You could probably get a brand new/very new MX5 for that? Full warranty etc, I would rather that than a BM thats done a few miles. Servicing/repair costs considered.

Thing is, all of the decent options have a soft top. Can't think of many hardtops that are anygood for that money. Peugeot anyone?
