Actually, i might download from itunes the song on the intro of gone in 60 seconds....the

pow - the release bearing is part of the 3 piece kit. They are going to call me when it's in bits, so I can see them actually doing it etc as it is £160's worth of labour, so they could just leave the car in the car park etc

Neo - got it done at a Bosch Service Centre where I live. Before the car went in, no noise when idling, foot of clutch, in neutral, handbrake on. Now, there is this funky grinding spinning type noise.

It's either 1 of 2 things. Dodgey clutch release bearing/workmanship. Or the gearbox input shaft bearing. They said the gearbox was low on oil, but if it wasn't making the noise before it went in, I can't see it being anything to do with that.
