Matt, I'm guessing she is at uni, shes probably got a club night at the local or something and told her friends she'll go, and doesnt want to look like a douche to them. Or doing a sport or something, and she feels more comfortable telling you no than her mates.

Just give her a call and ask why, and then rearrange it to next weekend, give her enough warning and time. Doesn't mean anything is happening, she probably just wants space with her mates before you turn up and make her realise she isn't single.

Jeez, this is real heavy for before midday on a thursday and not even in PL
