In all fairness Jr's is going to have some shit hot spec but with no disrespect I dont think that will see much trac action even though it had a heavy track spec I am sure it will more used on country lanes around Brands Hatch

Mine may not of seen a track but it plenty of runs at Santapod though

it will get used more on track that in will on shit pot holed roads, how often ? when its not raining

decent x16 bottom end £200 tops
cams £300'ish
pullies £200 ?
arps £100
metal rollers £100

= £900
replace the bits you would like oil pump etc and yeah about £1k

get the head sorted wont be stupid id you keep it standard spec, even a worked one will be about £400 for a mild job

so your still have 1k spare easily, to not spend on the car
