yea have heard reports of drilled ones cracking, like allan says these are dimpled and supposed to be better 
i shall report on my findings when they're run in

I would have gone for just slotted disks, because the dimples serve no purpose what so ever.

nor do the slots,i found standard disks better tbh

the slots remove glazing ( can be removed by braking hard on plain disks anyway) and remove unwanted gas faster.
the only way to notice the difference is to really give the brakes a kicking.

as far as im aware the slots are to remove excess water from the pads and the keep them from glazing over.
the dimples serve the same purpose to an extent, but nothing like as good as the slots.
standard discs on road cars are fine, but when you get p to racing cars where they get a hammering none stop for a couple hours, you need to get some uprate ones.
