He told me he did it, she also admitted it eventually.. I've told him no girl will get between us, but it's principle and respect, you just don't fucking do it and he did. These two were supposed to love me and just acted as if they couldn't give a fuck.

Tbh if hes a gd mate and he told you and it was a mistake on a night out then id be inclined to try and forget it and move on...

Easier said that done but yeah..he told me (on msn, would have liked it face to face) and both say it was a mistake..And hes not just a good mate hes my best..which makes this so much fucking harder

I was with my ex for 3 years and the week she broke up with me she spent every day with and kissed my mate who iv been close friends with since we were born, was like a brother. A few weeks later once he was back in germany(army) i found out they were a couple.
Needless to say at the time i wanted to chop them both up
That was a few months ago now and i couldnt give one anymore, i dont talk much to them both though anymore.

seriously, i dont understand becuase yes you have a history with this girl, but if you two are finished then i dont see the problem in her/them moving on... and if they really like each other then its up to them, its their lives, and in my oppinion nobody has the right to stand in the way, unless you still have feelings with her visa versa. Yeah its a shite situation but bite your tounge mate .. just an oppinion, hope you and your mate sort this out

They don't have feelings, he says it was a drunken mistake, she says the same and I think she wanted to get back at me by doing this.

I have been in this situation. I was going out with a girl for 2 years.
Toward the last few months I wanted to break up with her, and did so but ended up getting back with her as I felt so bad as she was upset. Ended up splitting up with her 2 months later and ended call communication as thought that was best.
4-6 weeks later my mate takes me to one side and says he has feeling for my ex etc and thinks she does to, would I be okay with him seeing her (he was shitting himself and pretty worried about what to do). I was fine with it and said for him to go ahead! Might have helped that I was shagging about at the time and loving it!
4 years later they are still together. really don't know what I ever saw in her as my girlfriend of 3 years is so much fitter etc!! I'm still mates with my mate concerned though!
I can't see there being an issue. You split up with her and therefore have no feeelings for her in that way anymore! You can't have the best of both worlds!

We have an unwritten rule - never date or kiss a mates ex. This was broken by my mate when me and melissa broke up. Never truely forgiven my mate for it even tho we still speak.
