But, this all goes back to what I've said time and time again. IMO Imprezas may seem more common because they're noticeable and distinctive. An Impreza goes past when you're in bed and you know about it, that distinctive flat4. Any other car goes past and you wouldn't know what it was at all. A thousand corsas could pass your house and you wouldn't know, yet 1 scooby does "oh, common pieces of shit" Same with their look, they stand out.
Don't get me wrong, I'd have an LET corsa myself, but not to go proving myself thinking i'm great because the car i'm overtaking cost 10 times that of mine so gives me cheap thrills because I can't afford a better alternative.
Putting an LET in a corsa is a bit like going out and buying a bag of icing and calling it a cake.

i agree corsa lets are quick,and yes it over took an impreza but fuksake get it on a track and race the like of a cosworth/evo/scoob and he wont be laughing much then!

I completely agree, perhaps I should have said Impreza's are common which they are... and yes Corsa's are common much more common in fact but a Corsa turbo isn't...
It's the same old same old at the end of the day yes the corsa is quicker but we all know which we would rather have....

I can accept that a Corsa with a whopping big power engine will beat a scooby, it goes without saying. They'll beat most things on the road. It just wasn't a proper race that's all. To overtake someone then say you owned them is just funny It's almost pathetic in a way. If you've got a bee in your bonnet and something to prove because you drive a corsa, then at least do it in a legitimate setting 
Exactly, if we're gonna say they owned the Scooby then not that long ago I owned a Ferrari in my 12v coz I overtook it...

At the end of the day if I was doing track days myself and had the cash to flash id deffo turn up in an evo etc.....
BUT
It annoys me when ppl slate corsa turbos saying aghh there only good in a straight line, put them on a track and theyl just die.
This isnt the case, it depends on a lot of variables which i cba to go into.
Mabi the corsa in that video couldnt 'handle' or mabi the driver was just shite but it still kept the evo behind, who cares if it was due to power/weight ratios, thats the whole point in corsa turbos, to take advantage of the such good power to weight ratio.

i never said corsas cant handle,im saying they wont handle as good as a evo/impreza e.g the 1 in the video
corsa can handle if setup correct but not that many are,unfrotunately the majorty ive seen are on gmax suspension lol
and of course taking advantage of power to weight is good,no point building a big engined car if your not going to play with the big boys is there?just stating a fact about the first video posted also!

Mate they are common - couple of years back there would only be a few now you see one all the time (well around my area anyway) I've gone from liking the sound of them to just finding them annoying now
They may not be as common as above but they are still classed as common sorry

tbh in that video the evo does handle and brake better,you can see the corsa is struggling but at the nd of the day it still wins.
ive over took many cars in mine and all but the scooby owners pull up and wan't to know what's in it,i also overtook someone in a 207 gti he then tried to tell me there is no point having a quick car the can't go round island's/corners,so i sat it on his bumper all the way round the next island at high speed then overtook him.
i agree cors let's don't handle aswell as a lot of other cars,and people say if you wan't a quick car buy something else but that's the point in building them becasue you can't go faster for less money.
