so second question is- does anybody have the time, or know anyone who has the time, to edit 20 pictures with kids names on the numberplates and print them off onto card, will of course pay for it....or shall i go to a printers?

yeah theywill have all the software to do what you want.

Local printers to my work do all sorts to making canvasses and prints on bed linen

I'm sure someone on here would do it for you then just email you the pics, try get them pretty high res as they will come back better quality from the printers.

You could just go on fancyplates.com and make a plate with the kiddies name.

Print it onto card
