130is are creeping into the 12k bracket?
Also does it have to be focus sized as I would be looking at a Z4 3.0 at that sort of money (if I had 12k)

My local Ford garage has 18 ST's in stock!! Might go for a looksie after work tomorrow!!

If they've got 18 of them (not a huge garage by any account!!) they will be pulling out all the stops to get rid of them im guessing?

Has the new Focus been released yet? Wouldn't you be better waiting for that coz prices will drop.

There was 2 of them racing where I was tonight and they're pretty fucking quick for the size of them! And they'll be very comfy, warranty etc. I'd much rather one tbh.

The tag with an E46 M3 is that it looks like you have money, but that's if you care about what people think.

I'm sure Ben will be along soon to give you his pro-focus opinion

Same as me. I've been with Admiral for years but this time around Esure came out best for all three. 362 for the Focus is good. That's cheaper than both Astra and Freelander and only 20 quid more than the Corsa. Focus is somewhat quicker

Mk5 Gti's are going for around the 11k mark. Failing that an R32?

Focus would be a good choice. I also concur with Robin - White is the one to have (minus stipes of course)

If you need 5 seats Colin dont get an ST-3, they only have 4..

The 3 has a 6 disc changer, leather and a few other bits and bobs extra over the 2.

ST over an M3 for me.

M3's are quality but with prices dropping so quickly every wannabe with a couple of k are gonna be driving them and they'll get a worse rep than they already have for dickheads behind the wheel.

Not the best reason by far not to buy a car but i'd rather a nice couple of year old ST than a hammered M3

Dont you spend loads of time off shore? So your not gonna use the car all the time?

In which case, VX220T, or A similar spec Lotus, (190 is the matching model??).

VXR over ST for me. Faster

Not many cars out there are an appreciating asset, so any car will lose money - it just depends how quickly. A 2yr old example, will have lost a sizeable amount already, for the next owner to lose a bit more but at a slower rate.
