That looks lovely. Sooooo moody all in black.
Maybe you could paint the insides of the headlight surrounds black too? That might make it look meaner

were the custom grooved discs plain to start with?

Just sounds a bit dodgy in the way that you've done something to them that wasn't meant to be done.

Not saying they're going to blow up or anything, just stating that it sounds a tad bodge-like.

Basically you buy normal disks and pay a company to groove them. Nothing Dodgy, Its just like it would be if you bought grooved disks to start with as they have to be the same spec (thickness ect...) just with grooves

thats like saying you buy a corsa and change the wheels, they never meant for it to look like that so you've bodged some wheels on!

the disks are uprated plain ones then i have offset circles machined in so as the disk spins it creates an oscillating motion. they work very well, better than i thought they would, my boss at weekend work did it for free and has been doing it on race cars for 40+ years so i think they will be fine on my little corsa haha

irmy grill arrived this morning, finally bit the bullit!

Wheels comment - not the same at all

No bother anyway, just if it was me I'd buy grooved discs to start with.

EDIT: keep meaning to say, the car's lovely anyway

yeh i did look, but 350 quid for ebc disks and pads or 150 for mintex plains and got them done for free. mintex without been grooved are supposed to be as good as ebc grooved ones and i trust my boss's judgement with over 40 years experience in the motorsport industry. cheers for the comments bud, much appreciated!
