The solution I could think of would be to move sections. I used to work in a supermarket, but I worked in Wines, Fresh Food, Dry Goods and Deli. Though that was only because I wanted all the overtime they could give me. Most of the full timers would stick to one section, this guy could just move to Fresh Foods and he'd probably never even go near the wine cage, or whatever they have setup in his store.

I just don't think in a debate about the working conditions of Dave Smith, a joke about Dave Smiths name would add anything to the discussion. You may find it funny, but that's because you're not used to seeing names like that. Whether it needs posting is another matter.

As far as I'm aware, in Islam drinking alcohol is forbidden, but I don't think there is anything in the Qu'ran about not being allowed to handle it?

Gets way to much coverage

a bit like the covering up of the "love new carpet" adds here in Luton, one set of legs and all hell breaks loose

I suppose the writers of the Qu'ran didn't think the followers would be working in wharehouses

I thought there religion was not to drink alcohol (which most do!) not to not move it across a warehouse on a forklift truck

Simple solution for tesco - stop employing muslims!!

If I went for a job kissing people and they ask me to kiss a man I would leave the job, not fight for my rights a heterosexual. Perhaps that's just me.

The real reason behind it is that the drinks isle is quite often a difficult one, I seen it all the time when I used to work in asda.

They couldn't touch the drink but didn't mind handling frozen meat because that was an easy job.

If you can't do the tasks involved with the job you shouldn't be in it

Fuck his religion right off, that's no reason not to carry them

Having no arms is a good reason not to carry the drinks, he has arms

So rip them off so he has a genuine reason to refuse to do the job
