i dont get it, is that enginue up front fake then? why are the turbos all the way at the back of the car?

Ahhh Adam, your about 5 years behined fella.

Yanks have been devloping the rear turbochargers for some time now. Without lag (don't know how), but mounting the turbos by the rear axel. PLenty of cool air. Still can't see how it gives the power it does, but it must work.

Should be plenty of clips on that america car video site, can't remember the damn name now

there was a 205 that had a rear mounted turbo in PPC a couple of months ago.

All home brew and worked perfectly well if the article is to be believed.

Rear mouted turbos have been about for the last 20 years+ i reckon in the usa

nope, its a BB chevy, made to look like a 251 or whatever pontiac (ie the standard engine)

as they say looks can be deceiving, why is there not fuck loads of lag then?
could using 2 turbo chargers or a super charger and a turbo or even nos

That wasn't a redtop (2.0 version), that was an Ecotec lump, a 2.2 16v ali engine (we have it in 150bhp/145lb ft guise).

That website was awesome.

Crank = Replace standard after 450bhp
Rods = Replace standards after 600bhp
