^ yep, was in my mates car and they tested it. he was given a prohibition order and had 14 days to get them off

mine are definetaly illegal, but from whats happened to my mates when they get caught, you just have to peel them off at the roadside.

im tempted to take mine off to avoid trouble, but cannot be asked.

my dads where done "legally" by bmw garage, had car 4years got pulled they said it was illegal by vosa standards. Told him to peel it off

Nothing ever came of it. Stupid law, they better ban sunglasses next!

apparently legal limit is now 7% tinted on the front, says a window tinter. lol

6 points for 2 windows seems a bit extreme to me lol, its no where near as bad as wearing sunglasses

you can see the tints are fairly dark, but not as dark as ive come across

ok everyone talking bollocks thinking you know the rules...

all car's now have factory window tint. partly due to stop harmful UV rays damaging plastics/leather inside a car.

on my corsa, i had to go to VOSA as it needed a check by them to put it back on the road (cat C repaired). they said that any tint on the front side windows is illegal and you aren't allowed anything at all.

so please don't talk bollocks about being able to have 25% on them etc. i had 50% on the corsa and they looked quite light but were still very illegal.

The green tint on the sport windows for example is the max you can go, and its really barely anything at all.
