because they ve the most stupid design bracket ever for the subframe pickup point, and everyone that has fitted them to minus's have had issues

hi'lo sand gazshocks will be a better choice for 99% of driving

Take it the 'hi-lo' is the thing sitting beside the shocker? How does it work if it looks like it's got no shock absorber?

EDIT: wait, just read your last post. where does the shocker go in it then?

Suspension on a mini is really random, you've got a shock on the rear, mounted vertically as you normally would have one, but the 'spring' is a horizontal rubber cone.



The fronts are even more odd



The bit the Hi-Lo unit replaces is the rubber cone in the first pic, and allows for height adjustability without the harshness you get with coilovers.

it a bit lighter than a standard mini, and depending on engine spec should be around 100bhp

it had a 1380 in it, it will proberly end up as a 1293 or 1310 in its new guise
