The definition of hard doesn't mean your 'hard' in my opinion.
A "hard" person in my eyes is a raving lunatic is doesn't give a shit and flies off the handle at the slightest things. The kind of person who wouldn't hesitate to bottle someone in a pub when they're scrapping etc.
Its not really "hard" people just think that they are hard because they are always heard beating people up etc, mainly because i mentioned they don't care and would do anything to get it done.
I remember at school someone would be classed hard as well if they could take a good punch, i remember it was like "Oh so and so must be fucking rock hard, xxx punched him in the face and he didn't even go down"

my definition of hard is basically my mate lee potts, he's the nicest bloke you could ever meet so people tend to think he's soft but he's far from it. another mate of mine saw him get a kicking off 3 blokes at once and afterwards he got up and floored the lot of them. they all had to go to hospital that night.
i dont associate the word "hard" with these people who will stab you as soon as look at you. they are more like phsyco's. and the typical bald headed stocky lads tend to be bullies.

Hard men are people who never look for a fight and aren't mouth pieces. They are the guys who speak with actions and not words. For example my mate has just started Thai boxing and had his first fight a couple of weeks back, before it I would have fancied my chances against him if it had ever come down to a scrap. Now after watching him in the ring I would be hoping I had my running shoes on if that happened

most people think a hardman is a muscley stocky skinhead covered in tattoos, mostly right but in my eyes a true hardman is someone who will just fight anyone and is really fierce, i know a kid who is a decieving looking guy and ive seen him take down bodybuilders just through handspeed alone, the clumbsey big muscular dopes cant handle him.
