Welcome to corsasport, loved your car since you fitted the z-let. Glad you loosed the MCR bumper and how did you un-smooth the arches ?

I was @ pvs this year thinking, the only car i would chop mine in for is your's

Can i ask why dont you use an F28 ?

Hi Guys, as for the arches we just cracked them off using brute force and then made good the panels, it was`nt pretty but the end results were worth it. As for the gearbox, we got hold of a good F20 which we put a diff in, we thought we`d see how that went and since fitting its held up well. We did consider F28 but finding a solid one aint easy, also the synchros are notoriously weak. However since its now running 300bhp and 315ft/lb the F20 is on borrowed time, we did consider M32 but due to amount of custom work involved (driveshafts, mounts etc) we`ve decided to go for a Quaife gearkit which will go in over winter and will handle the engine mods planned.

Yes we are going for the Quaife synchro kit with straight cut gears, this way we get to keep the Quaife diff The 1.6 turbo engine was fun but we craved more power
