I had a BMW 335 for a few days while we worked on it was stupidly fun and fast to start with as standard but after an exhaust system, intercooler mods and a custom remap it was mindblowingly good for a diesel, they drive very much like a petrol and will keep with a standard M3 easily.

Its on the list for my next car.

You've done amazingly well to sell both the cars in such a short space of time with todays market.

Its a no brainer for me though with ins at £650 and no petrol issues.

What colour is the rs6 your looking at?

I thought some of the tuner cars with exhaust and remap had given better performance times than the M3?

Especially in gear acceleration

Stu, as someones said, what about a Monaro VXR/SC???

500bhp, 500lb ft, nearly M5 pace.... not to be sniffed at. We'd have one if it fit in the garage

Some seriously impressive performance times from a big heavy car. Won't be RS6 pace, but won't be that far off.

And retains 40mpg

I am also car-less But this will be for the foresee-able future

Yup. Hate it for track, but the technology is superb on the road.

You want instant available power. TDi provides this.

Well, that's you isn't it. I hardly ever had the sounds on in my scooby. If the car sounds nice, i'd rather hear that tbh.

I suppose one'd be handy for those long journeys.

Still thinking RS6 y'know! Hold £2000 back for a remap and a Milltek that will take it up to 500bhp and then hold another £2k back for 2 years of extended warranty.

Luxury and speed and a pretty subtle car!

Gorgeous cars.

I know someone with one that's 400bhp. I couldn't catch it on my bike, wasn't loosing me, but I couldn't catch him once we got to about 140+, mental quick
