3 of my mates have them, 2 are off the road with turbo problems and have been for a little while
Someone else I knew bought one and it blew up after 3 days of owning it, so look out for a decent one!

A 180bhp punto GT will just have the edge and no more.Once the XE gets into 3rd gear it will reel the punto in easily.

A guy local to me has a punto running about 180bhp and he sported an XE corsa as he kept saying his punto would smoke 1.He said he had the lead but the corsa started to gain in 3rd gear.

P.S bhp sells cars,TORQUE wins races.

A punto GT running 170bhp will do 0-60 in 6.4 secs and the 1/4 in the high 14s.

You clearly are confused then?

A punto with 180 bhp will have shed loads more torque than an XE Corsa seeing as it has a turbo and a more potent midrange.

Andy Stockers (above) had circa 180 bhp and it ran mid to low 14's. A standard tired XE will run low 15's unless stripped to hell.

Use some logic here people.

The ONLY problems I EVER had was an oil leak which was the tuners fault as they used a faulty hose clip and my CV boot went as well.
As mentioned mine was tuned to 180 bhp, and besides the 2 above things NEVER went wrong.
As with anything ...... if you look after and maintain it, it'll last longer.
As for everyone saying they always go wrong and Fix It Again Tomorrow ..... please STFU

Don't get me wrong, I Love my car, its never missed a beat and its smart as.. But Id have more fun in a smaller hot hatch which handled on rails
