we've had ALOT of rain lately. North gets a bad name but there's some lovely areas, durham is one, if you ever get the chance spend a day there and see everything, good shops, beautiful scenery and great night life tbh

Im going into Hi-Tech Crime though, so will be police staff

How do you get into police force? I also want to be in traffic but I dont know what the requirements are, how fit you have to be etc?

you have to do two years probation, i hear traffic is not that great to be in these days as they are merging firearms with traffic

congrats. it took me 18 months to get in, and its hard training, but worth it. i have two weeks to go until i get out on the streets. Start learning definitions is the best advice i can give you, oh and enjoy the delights of the SOLAP!!

danny:- have to get through application form (think they said this time they had over 2000 interested people ) then the assessment centre which is an utter bastard! then the final interview (panel interview), then fitness.....have to push/pull 34/35kg on dyno machine, and run 5.4 on the bleep test....then all the vetting, security checks etc

yes thank you, nerves weren't as bad as expected and they even said they were all really impressed with me and my knowledge of durham police was some of the best they've heard from someone not in the job yet Well happy so bought another horse today to celebrate
