These do more damage than good, would have been ok in this slow speed situation but in a higher speed accident they grip the floor and can really fuck the bikes whole frame.....

Yeah, imagine the bike hitting in the ground in forward motion. The soft bump-stop digs into the road and the weight of the bike is on 1 or 2, 2"round soft bump-stops on 10mm threads into the bikes frame.......

I would rather my bike slide than grip and throw itself up....
