I would never put the 'kit' that is made in Hong Kong in my car. Dodgy shite, Mymate bought it, fitted them and ripped them out cos the ballasts were roasting hot and the lights were shite.

Decent kits are only about £120 anyway

Yes but these kits are exactly the same as the higher priced kits.They are all made in the same factory,just they have different boxes.
I know numerous ppl who have used the cheaper kits and have had no problems what so ever.
A ballast is a ballast no matter what,u dont get better and worse 1s.And the bulbs are all the same.

Of course you get different build quality, Internals, wiring, manafacturing and reliability. Ballasts are known to fail reguarly on cheaper items.

Bulbs , Again, Are different. If you've ever bought cheap sports bulbs then bought Philips Vision bulbs you will see life span, quality and light output is vastly different.

So to conclude, You DO get better kits and you almost definetley do get worse kits.
