Thats what I was thinking, pretty much first thing!

But that way you don't overload your stomach and the food you eat is actually needed, thus reducing the need for a shit.

Well it does when doing sport. Normally I have a shit in the morning and evening. But if I'm out biking all day, eating little and often, I don't shit in the evening.

Take loads of beer, get a couple of burgers there, thats all the thinking you have to do.
Let your bowels take care of everything else.
I've never had the shits at a festival from either eating or not eating.

With diarrhoea you're supposed to starve it i.e. not eat or drink anything.
Why would you have diarrhoea? Do you suffer from IBS, or just because of what you will be eating etc?!

Something like Immodium will work with diarrhoea, if and when it arrives. HOWEVER, as the doctors told me, it doesn't cure it, so you're better off not taking them and starving it. Easier at home than a festival, granted.

If you had a nappy on you'd not even go out the tent once until going home monday.
