It all depends on circumstances, you could be ready at 18, or not ready at 27, the individual may not be suited to being a parent, in my case, I had them later than I wanted (23), but aslong as I'm not 50 when my kids are still teenagers then that's alright.

Why anybody would knowingly want children in their early-20's is very odd to me. That's it then..youth over. You're a parent! Bugger that. What is it with people wanting to be old as soon as they can? I have a daughter and she is great, but i'm not saying her coming didn't mess a lot of things up and spoil my youth.

Young people who 'love parenthood' are usually people who fob them off on granny/grandad 80% of the time. Something I can't do.

Well me, my brother and my dad all played football together and did general activities, I don't want my kids wanting me to play football with them and me turn them down because my zimmerframe doesn't have a telescopic leg to kick with.

Not neccesarly. Id rather be in my 20's than 30s coz when they get old u get your life back and can enjoy being a mature adult.

I wanna be an active mum and wanna be intrested, by 30 i wont be!

diferent folkes different strokes!

Your right in most cases that's the truth, either that or it ends up with the couple parting company and a single parent struggling, I've lived it up before I had kids, travelled the globe on 'lads' holidays shagging and getting drunk, that's as good as it gets, I can compare my previous antics with the situation I'm in now and I prefer being a parent and just going out friday or saturday night, lets say I go out friday, I always make sure my other half enjoys herself when I'm at home.

In general the people having kids in their teens and early 20's are still kids themselves.

Since when can you not be active when you're 40+ (assuming you have a kid when you are 30)

Congrats! Everyone's got their preferences, I will never judge anybody or express any resentment towards anyone who doesn't agree with me, it's me that has to look after mine, nobody else so why do others worry so much? Hope everything goes well.

i got pregnant 2 month before my 16th and tbh it was the best thing that could have happened to me, i got my life back on track and really grew up, now we have3 the youngest being 22 months, and i am 21 and want to go to college and then onto uni and really do something with my life, i will admit tho it hasn't been easy but my b/f is the best dad any child could want. some people what kids young and if they are ready then i have no probs with that

You believe the best thing that happened to you was getting pregnant at 15 because it meant you had 3 kids by 21 and now can go get a degree?

No offence but aye o.k.
