This thing with the fastest lap with the SITRPC

I thought that this time they went round a few times to practise & then had one timed lap at the end, and that was the one counted, not picked the best out of the whole lot

I thought this too, because under the old system Jimmy Carr fluked his way to the top of the leaderboard with a random quick lap out of all his runs. Whilst the lap of JKs may have been his final timed lap, that's definitely not the way they made it sound.
