That assumes Sabine doesn't mind the commute.

The challenges are quite clearly staged. The Liverpool one jumped around all over the city. I would imagine anyone with local knowledge of the other places would notice it's not chronological footage and therefore not actually a race.

I dont even watch Top Gear now. As has been mentioned its predictable.

Too much unfunny joking and canned laughter , not enough cars !

Stuntman is a cheap way to fill a few minutes. I found last Sundays episode a bit boring, but that's because it was purely about cars, which I know is what I watch it for, but it's good to have some humour of car chases/blowing some stuff up.

I hope they don't leave, I think they are a great trio.

IMO i love the show but as said it needs fresh blood.I rekon James is good on the show and is funny in his own right and it's good to have a different personality.

What REALLY pisses me off with Top Gear is the 'Star in the car' feature I've found myself using the sky+ to tape the show then watching it later just so i can Fast Forward past it.

90% of the guests on there have fuk all knowledge of cars or even a slight interest in them.Mind you Sir Ranulph Fienes(sp) was good and a han dfull of others.

The show needs to me more car orientated...a bit like what 5th Gear is like with Tiff and Jason racing a 911 against an R8 etc! And maybe an RR day with loads of diff cars I dunno but i do know that if it was my job all day long to think of stuff to do i'd do a better job.

I would liken it to a trip to the pub with mates, if you were going there you would enjoy the drive, you might talk about cars in a technical way, but you wouldn't quote facts and figures. I think FG is a different format and TG shouldn't do that, but at the same time there's no harm listening to knowledgeable, interesting people. Which a number of guests are not and which the presenters try hard not to be.

They do the race then go back for the arty shots, was one of the questions i asked them when we went to the show as it always seemed staged to me. The results are genuine, lots of filming is done after the event to make it more interesting to the viewer.

And i dont see why?

Id prefer a person who knows what shes talking about rather than someone who trained as a radio presenter or somone who trained as a pianoist /journalist.

The three of them do make a good team, but as stated CLARKSON is the main man I wouldn't have thought the pay difference was that much anyway???

Without a doubt I'm going to be watching it tomorrow
