fairford is 32.50 in advance 45 on the day
waddington is 16 in advance or 20 on the day i think

i wonder if it will appear at airbourne in eastbourne last yr we had a bloody 747 flying about 100ft off the water so reclon they might try to get it therer plus its free

Waddington's right down the road. I might have a mooch down, been waiting for this to get flying for ages. Beats the static one they've got next to the A15.
It's £20 on the gate for anyone thinking about it.

They had a 747-400 from South Africa a Duxford a few years back now, it did a bloody vertical take off. I thought it would surely stall, but nope it didn't.

A plane with a MTOW of about 400 tonnes will make an impressive rate of climb with next to no weight on board!

The end of the runway is very close to the road. Most planes come down that low over the road.
