Because I think Corsa's look so much better when modified tastefully compared to Nova's/106's etc.

If I see a nicely done up Corsa I might look twice, if it's a Nova it might look nice but I probably won't take a 2nd look.

Sold my Mr2 turbo to pay off credit cards and buy a house. bought the corsa as it's cheap reasonably fast and cheap to play with as I like messing with cars.

Most of my money goes on the house, the rest goes on modding the corsa to how I want it. simple. No shite bodykits though, just low and power in mind.

It was purple.
It was pretty
It was fairly new still (Corsa B when it came out).
Nice curvey shape, plenty of modifiying potential.
Cheap, easy engine conversions.
Easy to work on.

Because it wasn't a neddy nova, it was far more classier. Not anymore though, Corsa B IS the new ned (now known as chav) chariot. That and saxos.

I mod mine because - there are loads of parts avilable & they're easy to get hold of. You can buy a nice example for a grand, and they're good on insurance. Reliable, if looked after too.

imo its all on looks, and simplicity of modifying them, imo they look better than any other car in its class, and as said before you can get stupid amounts of power out of XE/LET's. ive always had a liking for Corsa's and Novas, and also the fact that GSi's are rarer than most of the others.

Nova GSi
R5GTT
205 GTi
Uno ieT
AX GT

out of them id have the nova.

Corsa GSI
106 XSi
Clio 16v
Punto GTT

id again have the corsa out of them, but thats my honest opinion.

the reason why i do it is because one and only reason i like corsa's!

Xe or let a corsa and laugh at people when you go past after they give you the old throttle blip..

Plus nova's they are ok just the chassis are a little more flimsy than the corsa, a saxo is just a pug bent pedal small unreliable piece of shit! Only good things that come of a peugeot/saxo is the breaks, and i'd prefer to be in a xe or let corsa in a crash as your still more likely to survive than if you were in them lunchbox french things... Bah i hate french cars

Got my corsa because they look rude as f*** wen there modded, great range of conversions, and lets face it there cheap to run, cheap insurance, and relatively cheap on parts. a winner all round, plus if no one had one, we wouldn be here speaking on one of the best corsa forums at least we are all driving granny cars in here! lol

They're far from heavy. Me and Tomnova16 picked mine up and moved it out the way when we needed it moving. Sure it was sans engine and wheels, but hey...

Because they're easily modded, and when done properly can handle real well, as well as being safer than the likes of the 106/saxo's. Plus, look way better!

Also, conversions are done reasonable easily now, and with 2.0 in...as said earlier, they can outpace cars well over their overall value! Although seeing a 2 litre corsa is no longer a 'special' thing as there's loads.

Even so, the arsey 'expensive car' drivers still dont expect it, and the look on their face is brilliant!

first issue for me i dont like french cars, i dont like novas and i chose to mod my corsa because i like the curvy shape, with the right modifications they can still look modern.

and the challenge of making my corsa keep with up with things like my friends ctr is a challenge and i like a challenge

I had no intention of buying a Corsa for my first car, and I thought I'd never own a Vauxhall in my life. I got it because it was in my budget, was great on insurance, and all the other cars I'd looked at had oil leaks. I mod it because standard cars are boring (I got bored of the V-grille in about two weeks ), it's fun and you can make it look how you want
